Is there really no recruitment fee?

Correct. SmartChain does not charge placement or recruitment fees to hiring organizations. The SLEP model is built to create talent pipeline value for our consulting clients and the broader ecosystem. You pay nothing to access candidate profiles or make a hire.

What level of experience do SLEP graduates have?

They are early-career professionals, but not untested. Every graduate has completed supervised client work, built real deliverables, and received mentor feedback before being introduced to employers.

How quickly can we receive candidate profile before submitting?

Most organizations receive an initial shortlist within 2 business days after submitting role requirements. Timing depends on track, role complexity, and immediate cohort availability.

What does the 90-day post-placement mentorship involve?

SmartChain continues supporting placed graduates through structured check-ins, manager feedback loops, and targeted coaching during the first 90 days. This reduces ramp-up friction and improves retention.

Can we interview candidates before making an offer?

Yes. You receive candidate profiles first, then interview only the shortlisted graduates you want to assess further before making a final decision.

Can we hire more than one SLEP graduate at a time?

Yes. We support both single-role hiring and multi-role intake across functions. If you are building a team, we can match several graduates from different tracks in the same request cycle.
